Artisan Profile
Steve Scott
Steve studied computational design and parametric architecture at Pratt Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania. Unable to find work in the construction industry, he applied his computational design skills to jewelry. In 2014 he worked for Rubertones CAD and Casting working as a CAD artist and web developer, where he learned how to design fine jewelry, and designed his first computationally-designed ring. Finding he was a better programmer than drafter, in 2015 he moved to Newark, New Jersey to earn his Master of Science in Computer Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Continuing applying computational design to jewelry, in 2021 he founded his company Baroque++, and established a web presence selling jewelry online.
