The Sea World - Acrylic Painting

SKU# GG-HD-SEA-WORLD-301
Special Features

Ancient story says that the harvest dance or Wangala dance was not done in the land initially but all the sea creatures including Sankini, the sea monster (in the shape of a snake) took part in the great dance festival. So the Sea World told Sankini that this is how the dance is conducted. And smeared his back with the mud and to carry it to the land so that the humans will know how to give thanks to Patigipa Ru’rongipa (God). To this day the pillars of the house are smeared with mud or rice paste before the Great Wangala dance.
