Details

I love fractals and I wanted to design something with the Sierpinski Triangle. The result was this star. I am not Jewish myself. My Jewish friends like it because it reflects mathematical perfection. but you don't have to be Jewish to enjoy a good fractal.

Care instructions:

Sterling silver is 92.5% Silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper), which make it durable but also reactive to air and chemicals.

Cleaning

1) Regular Wipe-Down: Use a soft microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth to gently buff away tarnish.
2) Mild Soap Bath: Clean with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
3) Avoid Abrasives: Never use paper towels or tissues—they can scratch the surface.

Storage

1) Keep It Dry: Moisture speeds up tarnishing. Store in a cool, dry place.
2) Airtight Containers: Use zip-lock bags or anti-tarnish pouches to reduce exposure to air.
3) Separate Pieces: Store individually to prevent scratching and tangling.

Avoid Exposure

1) Chemicals: Remove silver before swimming, showering, or applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray.
2) Sulfur Sources: Hot springs and some foods (like eggs and onions) can accelerate tarnish.
3) Humidity: If you live in a humid area, consider adding silica gel packs to your jewelry box.

Polishing Tips

1) Use Silver Polish: Occasionally use a silver-specific polish for deeper cleaning.
2) DIY Paste: Mix baking soda and water into a paste, gently rub with a soft cloth, rinse, and dry.# to remove Tarnish:

how to remove tarnish:

1) What You’ll Need: - Aluminum foil Baking soda
- Salt (optional, but boosts the reaction)
- Boiling water
- A heatproof bowl or pan
- Soft cloth or microfiber towel

2) The Process:
- Line your bowl or pan with aluminum foil, shiny side up.
- Add silver items, making sure they touch the foil.
- Sprinkle in baking soda—about 1 tablespoon per cup of water.
- Add salt (optional)—same amount as baking soda.
- Pour boiling water over everything until the silver is submerged.
- Let it soak for 2–5 minutes. You may notice a sulfur smell—this means it’s working!
- Remove, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth
